The Giant Puppets of  Liverpool - Sea Odyssey - UK - Photo - Information

In April 2012 there was an event that excited and thrilled Liverpool. A parade of giant puppets that walked the streets remembering the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic and its affect on the people of Liverpool, in particular on one young girl at the loss of her father on that fateful maiden voyage. The puppets where operated by many puppeteers, pulling ropes and moving levers with great physical effort.  The puppets where the Little Girl Giant, her uncle in a bell diving suit and her faithful dog. In the below photo you can see the three puppets (or manikins) onboard ship as they ply the River Mersey at the end of one momentous eventful day
